5 New Albums You Need to Listen To Right Now

As summer comes to a quick close, here are 5 new albums that we highly suspect will be able to keep you dancing until September rolls around.

Vince Staples, Big Fish Theory: In Vince Staples's new album, Big Fish Theory, Vince dabbles with several different sounds, some songs heavy with rap (look out for the Kendrick Lamar feature) while others feature old Amy Winehouse interviews. A lot different from his previous album, Big Fish Theory takes a more risky approach with modern sounds and succeeds. The tracks flow amazingly with one another and allow Vince Staples unique sound to stand out amongst other rappers.Top tracks: "Crabs in a Bucket", "Yeah Right"
Lorde, Melodrama: Almost two months after the release and I am still claiming Melodrama as one of the best albums of the summer. Lorde takes a more pop approach in comparison to Pure Heroine and does what she does best: tells her story of heartbreak and teenage angst through the tracks. Jack Antonoff is a co-producer on the album and if you’re familiar with Bleachers, you can hear his signature sound on many of the songs (he also produced Taylor Swift's 1989). Melodrama is a strong album where not a single track feels like a filler and will most likely have you belting out all the songs non stop.

Lana Del Rey, Lust for Life: In Lana’s fifth album (5 already!), she remains authentic with her classic moody vibes, while also mixing in some more upbeat sounds. As her soulful voice never fails to let us down through each of her albums, Lana pulls a first by adding big talents such as The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Stevie Nicks and many more. The change of tempo and melody during the few ones with features, add a whole new dynamic to Lana’s current style, and may come as a refreshing twist to even her most hardcore fans.Top Tracks: "White Mustang", "Heroin", "Lust for Life"

Tyler, the Creator, Flower Boy: Flower Boy is a different approach from Tyler. The normally aggressive and harsh sounding rapper, Flower Boy offers a more of an insightful look to his personal life while exploring different sounds. The album features Frank Ocean and his influence is undeniable on a couple of the tracks. Flower Boy is a standalone album that offers a more authentic and personal look into Tyler’s life. It delivers a more versatile grouping of sounds and mixes that will allow everyone find something to enjoy on it.Top Tracks: "Boredom", "I Ain’t Got Time!", "911 / Mr. Lonely" 
Mura Masa, Mura Masa: When it comes to genres of music, I'll admit I'm quick to dismiss electronic music. But this self titled album offers a versatile range of songs with strong beats to back them. Alex Crossan, who goes under the stage name Mura Masa uses tin drums, snares and other instruments to make his songs different from other electronic music and really stand out. Tracks range from slower, more lyrical to fast hip hop and have the features of A$AP Rocky, Charli XCX, Desiigner and more.Top Tracks: "helpline", "1 night", "Love$ick"
