NAIADS
Naiads
/ˈnīˌad/ noun
Derived from the Greek word naiein, “to flow”; water nymphs or spirits in Greek Mythology, presiding over springs, rivers, fountains, and lakes
Drawing inspiration from mythologies, Naiads explores the fluid, ever-evolving nature of gender. Naiads are water nymphs who dwell within springs, rivers, and lakes. They guide the waves as they push against the shore, crash on the rocks, and return endlessly to their source. Like water, gender is not fixed nor confined. As we encounter different landscapes in our lives, our understanding of self may ebb and flow. Gender is a testament to the fluid nature of human existence; we choose our own destiny.
