At A Glance: NYFW SS14

That's a wrap! Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week SS14 has officially ended, and as per usual the most hyped up week in the fashion world did not disappoint. Everything from the runway to the streets of New York were glowing with a distinctively chic aura found only during NYFW, demanding attention from fashion lovers all over the world. Our very own Emilie Nolan kept her pretty little eye on New York all week, noting her favourite designers, trends and beauty looks for this spring. Here's what she found:DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: Clover Canyon If you don't know who Clover Canyon is, start taking notice. Designed and produced in California, this designer is the new kid on the block... and they're here to stay. With trippy prints, neoprene fabric and a wildly colourful palette, everything in their collection is completely original. Why take acid when you can just marvel at their psychedelic pieces? Bottom line: Clover Canyon is the sh*t.L to R: Clover CanyonFASHIONTrend: StructuredA huge trend that was appearing on the Spring 2014 runways was structured cuts and shapes. I'm not talking about your typical circle and square prints. I'm talking about bad a** pieces with razor-sharp edges, making structured clothing a little less business and a lot more play.L to R: J. Mendel, Marissa Webb, OsklenTrend: Prints, Prints, PrintsIt's spring time on the runway, and you know what that means: designers go absolutely ape sh*t for prints. Breaking away from winter's classic monochromatic palette, designers were letting prints make a statement on the runway.L to R: Joanna Mastroianni, Noon By Noor, Marissa WebbTrend: WhiteWhen the designers weren't overdosing on prints, they were keeping things virginal with white. I personally love the clean look of white any day, every day, so I was pleased to see this colour on the runway.L to R: Rachel Zoe, Naeem Khan, Vera WangBEAUTY Trend: Barely TherePlenty of models were sporting gorgeous, minimalistic makeup. I love this look. A fresh face is the perfect compliment to bold, edgy clothing.L to R: Narciso Rodriguez, Vera WangTrend: EyebrowsThere were a number of beautiful, full brows seen on this year's spring/summer runway. The bushier, the better!L to R: Narciso Rodriguez, Prabal GurungTrend: Tousled WavesAgain, designers took a more natural approach with hair, styling locks in loose, care free waves. I especially love this hair style because it transitions nicely from the runway to every day.L to R:  Thakoon, Alexander WangSTREET STYLEOur favourite bloggers throughout NYFW SS14:L to R: Leandra Medine/ Man Repeller doing white and structure in Rosie Assoulin, Julie Sarinana/ Sincerely Jules rocking a great Rebecca Minkoff print. Yours creatively,Emilie Nolan, Head Photographer + Abi Conners, Online Editor  Images: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Vogue UK, Elle UK, Instagram (@sincerelyjules, @manrepeller).
