It's universal and undeniable practice for us to turn to the social media trend setters for inspiration, advice, and fashion cues. Looking back at the past week, here are some summer 2017's hottest trends brought to you by none other than our favourite celebrities. Florals? For Spring? Ground-breaking. Screen Shot 2017-07-20 at 7.54.10 PM

This time it really is, Miranda.  We’ve seen floral dominating Spring/Summer 17 shows- the twist this time, is that it's been taking over the men's shows. For her first public photos of her twins, Beyoncé chose a floral menswear piece by Alejandro Gómez Palomo. This dress came out in the Spring 17 look-book for Palomo Spain, a line created by the designer to celebrate gender fluidity and to dismantle gender norms through the medium of clothes, which was when Beyoncé ordered initially it and had it tailored to her. After announcing her pregnancy, Palomo was under the impression she wouldn’t be wearing it anymore due to fit, but to his surprise, his design appeared on Instagram for the world to see last week, just a month after giving birth to Sir and Rumi, glamorous as ever in menswear. Throwback ThursdayScreen Shot 2017-07-20 at 8.05.18 PM

Yes. Crop tops, tube tops, halters- the gang's all here. What surfaced in the 90s and was quietly put to bed in the early 2000s is seeing daylight again. Think slinky tops a la Carrie Bradshaw, strutting down New York oozing sex and the hottest trend.  We many not all have supermodel stomachs like Emily Ratajkowski or Bella Hadid but that doesn’t mean we can’t embrace this summer trend. Grab a halter that ties up in the back, and show off your shoulders, or your back. There’s a crop, tube or halter for everyone.Screen Shot 2017-07-20 at 8.12.17 PM

Another comeback trend, but one we may not remember so well. We've seen the pageboy hat in old black and white movies and photos of our grandparents and now most recently on the heads of many fashion influencers. Victoria Secret Angel Elsa Hosk was photographed wearing two different newsboy hats in her Elle Sweden cover – a patchy brown leather, and chic black. It’s a great accessory that completes an outfit with the illusion of you trying that day, and particularly convenient for bad hair days.Screen Shot 2017-07-20 at 8.17.40 PM
