from the director's desk(top) - welcome back to MUSE

At the beginning of May, we welcomed you back to MUSE in it's summer season. Throughout the summer, we've celebrated Pride, interviewed some cool people at Osheaga, and talked about how to be body positive (or what that even means). However, summer is coming to a close. That kind of sucks, not going to lie; I'll miss the bright coloured outfits, the sunshine, spending 80 dollars on two drinks at a patio bar.  But all hope is not lost! At the end of the summer comes the best time of the year: Frosh Week and Back to School. This week, it's all about asking how frosh feel, hanging at the pier, and being back at the Neverland we call Kingston. If you're entering Queen's as a frosh and you're reading this now; congratulations! You're about to enter one of the biggest periods of change of your life, but one that is genuinely amazing is so many ways. At Queen's, I and so many others have found a second home, through all the ups and downs, and I sincerely hope you do as well. And that's not all! For the next week, we'll be releasing specifically Frosh and Back to School content: exchange survival tips, how you can make Queen's feel like home, and some tunes to keep you going through it all. As always, MUSE has got your back.I'm also going to take this opportunity to plug our podcast, going into its sophomore season this year, and to re-release our finale podcast from last year. In it, we talk all things frosh, all things fourth year, and the lessons we learned in between.

Welcome back to MUSE, Queen's. Cha Gheill!
