Let’s set the scene. You’re in grade 9, you’ve just discovered Arctic Monkeys, and learned how to change the html for your tumblr page. You’re feeling more aesthetic than ever. You throw all of your favorite songs on an 8tracks playlist, but you can’t help feel a bit basic since “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” seems to be on every playlist out there and someone on ask.fm said your music taste sucks. You accept that you’re as angsty as you can be for this time period, so you throw on your combat boots, and just hope that your music taste can evolve in the future. Fast forward to now, and it’s finally time for your indie dreams to come true. Even though you probably aren’t maintaining your tumblr anymore, shuffle this playlist to bring yourself back to the moody days and have a ~ * chill time * ~.
