The final article in a series exploring the music alumni associate with their time at Queen’s University. On a Wednesday morning before class, I called Betty Muggah to talk about her time at Queen’s University and the music she associates with it. Betty attended Queen’s during the early 1960s and has many amazing memories of that time, from dancing to Twist and Shout in Grant Hall to singing and playing protest songs. This is the final article in the Music That Defines Queen’s series, which has covered the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and now the 1960s.
